A family company, rooted in the Rockies

ReVibe began with a pair of Molitor ski boots from Switzerland.

In 1959, my father received them as a gift from his uncle, a champion ski racer, who gave the boots to my father on one condition: he would learn to ski and accompany his uncle on the slopes from time to time.

My father’s love of the mountains deepened as a young man in the Austrian Tyrol, where he skied and hiked every day, always wearing his favorite sweater. He still wears that same sweater today.

He passed his love of the hills to me when I was a toddler. My first memory is a ski l

esson. It began with my father nudging me down the hill and ended with a tumble down the slope. When I finally stopped, I was laughing, overcome with joy.

When I was old enough to understand, my father instructed me on the value of excellent equipment. He was especially adamant about wearing proper clothing for a given outing, especially for an outdoor adventure, often saying, “No bad weather, only bad clothing.” 

ReVibe is a family-run company founded in Vail, Colorado where daily life moves between outdoor recreation and in-town social gatherings. Our clothing is designed to simplify and elevate an active life. Each piece is made by artisans using techniques learned and perfected over generations. A ReVibe garment is made to serve as a loyal companion and to revive a feeling of joy each time it is worn.
